Awards Update

Mount Riley Sauvignon Blanc 2011 was selected in the Top 100 and awarded a blue-gold medal at the Sydney International Wine Show.  The show is judged by some of the world's top tasters including Masters of Wines from around the world.  Wines are tasted alongside food and it's the only Australian competition open to NZ entries.  A great result for the new vintage.

Mount Riley Limited Release Sauvignon Blanc 2010 was recently judged best Sauvignon Blanc in the Southern Hemisphere at the five-nations wine awards.  Judged by a Master of Wine from each NZ, Australia, South Africa, Argentina and Chile the show is very prestigous and this trophy firmly establishes Mount Riley as one of Marlborough's top producers of Sauvignon Blanc. 

Mount Riley Riesling 2011 was also awarded the Champion White Wine Trophy at the New World Wine Awards.  This is a fantastic local competition open to wines retailing under $25 and further regognition of Mount Riley as one of the best value wineries in New Zealand.
