We have three computer controlled Bucher presses as well as a traditional basket press. Filtration is carried out by a variety of methods from traditional plate and frame to modern RDV and cross flow filters. We have a large barrel room containing oak barrels for wine fermentation and ageing and our own spacious, modern laboratory. Overriding all of this technology is the experience and skill of Matt, whose overview and dedication moulds the great wines of Mount Riley. |
Our state of the art winery was opened in 2004. It is located in Marlborough five minutes South of Blenheim on State Highway 1. Our cellar door provides tasting facilities for visitors and tours of our winery are possible by appontment. Click 
Our winery is equipped with the finest modern equipment but still retains the best of age old traditional equipment where appropriate. We have over 1.6 million litres of temperature controlled stainless steel fermentation tank capacity and use French oak barriques to ferment and age wines.
