Amy Murphy, Marlborough General Manager
Amy, John & Lyn’s youngest daughter and the wife of Mount Riley's senior winemaker Matt, joined Mount Riley in 2004. Amy manages Mount Riley's winery in Blenheim. She also oversees Mount Riley's design and marketing and works closely with Mount Riley's agents internationally.
Before joining Mount Riley, Amy worked as a litigator specialising in international commercial arbitration in NZ and London. The highlight of her legal training was working as judicial assistant to Lord Woolf, the Lord Chief Justice in England for a term in 2004.
Amy grew up with wine very much a part of her home life and has had a lifelong love of wine. In London she completed the Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET) courses and attained the WSET Diploma. She has also worked as an associate judge in wine competitions in New Zealand.
Amy lives in Marlborough with husband Matt, dogs Ruby and Pipi and Juno the cat. Outside of work she spends her time cycling, gardening, tramping, skiing and, when Marlborough's weather in unkind, reading or cooking. Email: amy@mountriley.co.nz
Raewyn Abbott, Sales Administrator
Raewyn has been part of the Mount Riley team since 2003. Raewyn's knowledge of the Mount Riley sales process is encyclopedic and her support is invaluable to the sales team. Outside of work Raewyn enjoys spending time with partner Dave, has a love of the outdoors - kayaking in Auckland's Waitemata harbour after work and has an interest in natural healthcare and naturopathy.
Judy Gibb, Financial Officer
Judy has been part of the Mount Riley team since 2000. She oversees all financial administration and reporting and provides John with invaluable support. Judy has three children and lives on Auckland's North Shore.
